GlobalLogic Ukraine is looking for J2EE Caching-Expert Engineer to work on the full time basis in our Kyiv office.
Required skills:
• Strong development background in JAVA, J2EE - 5+ years
• Prior experience implementing Search technologies using Lucene/Solr on large scale deployment with performance tuning, scalability and clustering.
• Experience in software development using Spring, Struts framework
• Experience in database design & development using Oracle
• Working knowledge of SOAP, REST, Web Services
• Working experience in distributed programming
• Experience with multithreaded programming
• Socket programming
• Experience using caching technologies such as Memcached and ehCache in a large scale deployment. Experience with Tomcat
• Good knowledge of agile development processes and engineering practices
• Excellent English verbal and written communications skills
Desired skills:
• Liferay
• Hibernate,
• JDBC/ODBC
• JDO/JPA
• ehCache, Memcached
• Working knowledge of the Linux/Unix platform. is a plus.
• JSP, HTML, Java script
• Knowledge of XMPP notification protocol / openfire (Jabber) is a plus
