Now we have an outstanding opportunity for talented PHP Developer to work on an interesting client for long term employment. You will be part of our ’team extension services’.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with PHP (OO thorough knowledge)
- Experience with PHP5
- Extensive experience with the Zend Framework, preferably version 1.8 or later
- Experience with HTML / CSS and AJAX
- Experience with XML
- Experience with design patterns like MVC
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Good command of English
- Software Architecture/Engineering/Design
- Affinity with Linux
- Flexibility in working hours
- Willingness to travel
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical skills.
Experience and expertise of Object-Oriented Programming in PHP5.
Prior software programming and design experience required.
Complex coding and expertise in Java or other OOP language.
Experience with version control, particularly Subversion
SQL skills and MySQL experience
Detailed knowledge of HTML, XML/XSLT, HTTP, SSL, DNS, TCP/IP. Knowledge of W3C standards.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Must be proactive, self-directed, detailed, and organized.
Must be able to learn quickly and get the job done in a high visibility, high stress situation.
Additional useful skills include
Expertise with JavaScript, especially jQuery
Experience working with open source projects and communities
Comfortable with Linux, SSH and the command line environment
Comfortable with test driven development and PHPUnit
Pre:
- Preferably experience with Data Warehouses, BI, Dashboard and Reporting Systems
- Experience with PHP / Java Integration
- Experience with BIRT
- Experience with Apache and Tomcat
